Maryke Stern - Please find attached some pictures of 1 January 2018 Sunrise relay Prayer

May the Lord Bless and Keep you, may He makes His face shine upon you, may He lift up His countenance upon you, and give you His Peace. (Psalm 103:6)

Grace Family Church - Port St. Lucie, FL, USA

Peggy Steffel - Thank you so much for starting this and I’m so grateful I saw it last year on breakingchristiannews.com or we never would have had such wonderful prayer and experiences at Sunrise! Last year and this year!
My husband’s favorite thing to do each year!

Mt Gravatt - Brisbane, QLD, Australia

Marilyn Rowsome - It was so exciting to see nearly 40 people gather on Mt Gravatt for the Sunrise Prayer Relay 2018. At 4.56am the sun rose and we prayed the Lord's Prayer together then the Sunrise Prayer Relay Declaration. We prayed for Australia, QLD and Brisbane and many other things.

Mt Cootha - Brisbane, QLD, Australia

Reynold Slade - Mt Cootha overlooking the city of Brisbane our prayer location, was covered with  dense fog for several hours during and after sunrise. However it did little to dampen the spirit of true worshipers that turned up. Some glorious singing and worship lead by our young people. I was reminded during worship'  "I can be in the sunrise, I can also be in the fog. Worship me from where you're at. I AM WHO I AM." The dew of Mt Hermon fell on Mt Cootha that morning. There were members from other churches present and it turned out to be a gathering of the brethren and we were all truly blessed. Looking forward to a glorious 2019 sunrise.

Buderim House of Prayer - Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia

Alex & Johnny Stahli - Here is a short testimony from the Buderim House of Prayer on the Sunshine Coast, Australia:
What a great way to start the new year by offering the first fruit's of our time to Yahweh with worship and prayer for the nation of Australia, the Pacific Islands and Israel! We met on the Buderim House of Prayer property to witness the sunrise and were touched by our Creator’s breathtakingly beautiful creation! Verses were shared from Proverbs 3:5-10 and 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 which stirred excitement within us for the year ahead. We were also reminded of the Hebrew Year 5778 – The Year of the Door. This is the year of the open door; may Yahweh’s grace allow each one of us to make it through the door which He has for each one of us to pass through this year!

Little Lake - Barrack Point, Shellharbour City, NSW, Australia

Linda Pill - Happy, Blessed New Year everyone!! I didn’t see midnight, or the fireworks, but I did see an awesome sunrise over the Pacific Ocean this morning! All praise and glory to the God who created it and sustains it all! There were 8 of us from 3 different churches gathered on Elliott’s Bridge from just after 5am. We enjoyed a time of singing, praying and reading bible verses, as the sun came up for the first time in 2018.
Afterwards, we had egg and bacon rolls done on the bbq as we were joined by several other brothers and sisters in Christ who had taken part in the prayer relay from different locations around the Illawarra. Great way to start a new year! May God richly bless each and every one of you, my beloved family and friends.

Kim Kime - 8 of us gathered on the bridge that joins Barrack Point to Warilla to watch the darkness turn to light in the natural while remembering Jesus’ complete work on the cross as He bought us out of darkness into His marvellous light.
We sang, prayed, read from the Word and finished off by listening to ‘Forever’ by Kari Jobe, followed by bbq together with Gods family. Such an amazing way to begin the new year.

All God's Best in 2018 for our brothers and sisters on the other side of the world!

Dawn On The Deck - Cairns, QLD, Australia

Pastor Melissa Haigh - Prior to everyone being there Peter accompanied by Kris worshipped with OUR FATHER. (See Video)
This set the atmosphere for the Lords Prayer.
There were 12 of us all up from 5 different churches.
One of he first prophetic acts was to sweep the DECK of all the debris from 2017. It was very powerful.
We ended up praying over the Nation for 2 hours. Flowing from worship to declaration, to identification repentance.
One of the outstanding moments was one of the indigenous leaders asking for prayer for her people. She was able to stand in for 3 people groups. And her grandfather was one of the last Kanaka workers around.
Peter felt to pray out of our family Bible. Which was a gift given to my great great great grandfather who was in Parliament in Brisbane and was instrumental in abolishing the practise of “Black Birding”, as it was known.
As we prayed Galatians 5.1
“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” out of that bible, the tears flowed.
Then a prophetic word and act came, how the Lord was going to give an adrenalin injection into the heart of her people.
He would bring them back to life with Hope and Healing. It was so powerful.
Those are the photos that you have of praying over an indigenous Leader. And Peter reading from our family Bible that dates back to 1843. (See Photos)
So the final result of unified prayer over the city was wonderful. For 2 hours and sharing breakfast and coffee together.

Australian Parliament House - Canberra, ACT, Australia

Iliganoa Uilelea Muranyi - SUNRISE PRAYER RELAY 2018! Canberra, the Home of Australia Parliament House! members of Embassy of Hope Australia heard the Call and responded, Giving thanks to God for His great Mercy for our Nation in 2017 -- Declaring Jesus Christ our Lord and King of Kings, His Word concerning His promises for Australia! 1/1/18 we watched and felt the warmth of the sun pushing through the darkness... A New Day dawning, Praises Celebration as the Son Shining as the Bright and Morning Star over the National Capital, over the Parliament House, over our Government and Decision Makers! Mercy Reigns as Repentant hearts were lifted high by the Just Judge Himself! Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour!
While A Cry for Mercy arose from the depth of the Land this early morning, the warmth of the Son dispelling darkness brought tears and songs of DELIVERANCE, HOPE and REDEMPTION for our Australia!
While praying for the Church, intercessions and travailing birthed forth a refreshed love and passion for the lives of the Future of our Church and Nation, our YOUNG PEOPLE! A trumpet call went out... Revive, Transform and Awaken our Land, Revive Us again oh Lord!
Isaiah 62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Zions Hill Church - Launceston, TAS, Australia

Beau and Wendy Jones - There were 11 of us who gathered on top of Zions Hill in Ravenswood, with The Lord God Almighty making 12 and ensuring governmental perfection over all our prayers and decrees.  The weather was beautiful, with the sun rising and shining brightly over the city of Launceston.  We worshipped, prayed, and decreed, finishing off with communion.  The Lord blessed us with a number of prophetic signs during this time. It was a very beautiful and powerful way to welcome in the new year and declare the Lordship of God over our city, State, and Nation.  To God be all the glory, and may His Kingdom come and His perfect will be done in this world!  Hallelujah and Shalom!!!
May the Lord bless you all!
Shalom

Mildura, VIC, Australia

Pastor Rebekah Milne - Mercy call
Releasing mercy over our nation was the prophetic theme that undergirded our prayer time as the sun dawned upon 2018 in Sunraysia. We were led to declare a ‘mercy harvest’, upon the nation to be released from the mercy seat of Gods kingdom. Our call for mercy extended in our nation, to the hearts of Gods people who would triumph over judgement. We called for an extended period of the manifest goodness of God, which is a precursor to repentance.
‘Australia’! as the new year has dawned, you will be granted a season of great mercy because even though you have been unfaithful, it is impossible for God to forsake his word over you. Blessed are they who call upon the name of the Lord, on your behalf. ‘2018 Australia for Jesus’.

Clio Williams -
Happy New Year and blessings to you.
Fifteen of us in Mildura gathered on a small pier on the Murray River. The image attached to this message was taken just before sunrise over the Murray: a silhouette of a paddle steamer is on the right.
It was very beautiful by the river out on the old wooden deck. We had Peta playing the violin on the shore, with the sounds of worship to the Lord echoing over the waterways and opening the heavens. Flocks of noisy chattering white cockatoos whirled overhead. A couple of ducks and pelicans coasted by as we worshipped, prayed and shared communion.
Kez had a word to declare for our nation: the "missing" second verse of our national anthem. The beginning of which is based on Collosians 1:18 and Ephesians 2:20-22.
"With Christ our head and cornerstone,
We'll build our nation's might;
Whose way and truth and light alone,
Can guide our path aright;
Our lives a sacrifice of love,
Reflect our master's care;
With faces turned to heav'n above,
Advance Australia Fair;
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair
."
Wow. What a powerful declaration, hidden but embedded in our nation's song.
Praise the Lord for His revelation in 2018! We pray that this verse becomes the Spirit song of our Southland of the Holy Spirit.
...Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord  in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:20-22
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Collosians 1:18

Other words we received:
This year is a year of MERCY. To continue to cry out to the Lord for His mercy on our nation. For spirit of conviction and repentance to fall instead judgement. For His salvation, for souls to be saved. Rebekah mentioned 'mercy babies' being born this year and prayed many people will come to Christ because of the Lord's mercy.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him
Psalm 103:8-11
Another word for 2018 is that it will be a year of ACTION, much activity and proactivity.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
God bless you and shine His face upon you this year!

Bald Hill - Helensburgh, NSW, Australia

Adrienne Erwin - God has shifted hearts today and for this year. Twenty people gathered to welcome in 2018 at Bald Hill. We declared God's authority and presence in this place. Of particular prayer focus were Ephesians 6:10-20, Galatians 5:1 and we sang with gusto 'You are the Lord Almighty'. It was great to see prayer increasing in our area. 15 people from one church!

The Hill - Rooty Hill, NSW, Australia

Tes-Alex Casin - "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and restore their lands." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Mt Robertson Lookout - Mt Kembla, NSW, Australia

Warwick Marsh - Four of us awakened the dawn at Mt Robertson lookout overlooking Wollongong Australia’s 9th biggest city with a population of 300,000. We had two different churches represented as we prayed, sang worship songs, took communion together and prayed the Jesus is Lord declaration together at Sunrise. We prayed for revival and transformation for both church and nation. We prayed for the persecuted church and we prayed for a release of the gospel in Wollongong and Australia.  We joined with the noisy cicadas and beautiful birds at sunrise for the  dawn chorus to give praise and worship to the king of kings. God is worthy of great praise!

Success Hill Reserve - Bassendean, WA, Australia

Lachlan Dunjey - It was a very good day. It was a wonderfully clear and glorious sunrise. 20 came – backgrounds including Baptist, Church of Christ, Christian Missionary Alliance, Pentecostal and Anglican including a grandfather, father and son trio. The setting – Success Hill Reserve – overlooking the Swan River was stunning with a good view of the sun rising over the Darling Range. The historical significance of the setting with its Noongar history and early white settlement also gave it meaning for a New Year dedication of our future.
The quiet singing “Brother let me be your servant” was – as expected and hoped for – a good song to sing to each other in view of our wide representation and our desire to work together and be a strong Christian voice for our nation.
And to all those fun-loving people who celebrated the night before and saw in the New Year and who ALSO (hopefully) dedicated the New Year to God why not ALSO for this super special occasion get up 4 hrs later for a SUNRISE DEDICATION? You can do it! Good soldiers for Jesus Christ for our day and for our nation can do it!!
It was a privilege to be there and to be sharing with like-minded people determined for God to be glorified in ourselves, our families, our church ministries, our governments and our nation. Thank You Lord!

Batangas City, Philippines

Arben Khen Boongaling‎ - Cloudy but still the sun rises over here at Batangas City, Philippines. As silent prayers were uttered the wind blows and water is dancing, rejoicing as new year comes.

Flagstaff Hill - Wollongong, NSW, Australia

Sharon Cousins - Today on 1.1.2018, we had 11 attend the NYD SPR 2018 at Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong, NSW Australia. Churches represented were Increase, Keiraview Uniting, Lighthouse, Shellharbour Community Church and Woonona Baptist. First light was at 5.18am and then sunrise at 5.47am. We had a candle which was inscribed - Jesus said “I am the light of the world” John 8:12. We followed a typed guide which included listening to Handle’s Messiah “Hallelujah”; singing “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone”, “How Great is our God” and “Everyday” at the end. We all said the Lord’s prayer together before praying for our families, workplaces, churches, pastors, government, Australia and the world, including the persecuted church, the National Day of Prayer and Fasting on 10.2.2018 (in Australia) and revival. I read aloud the NYD Sunrise Prayer Relay participating named 36 countries from around the world and we individually spoke out some scriptures before sharing communion with the reading from Luke 22 vs 14-20. It was a lovely morning together which was a witness to those around us and an act of worship unto our Lord. He is Risen.

We assured him of our purpose and prayed for him
Then after the rubbish was removed one lady used the remaining grape juice as a token of the work of the blood As she poured out the juice we prayed Thanking God for the sufficiency of the Cross and the cancelling and removing the debt of sin across the region In the Spirit Innisfail region is clean sed legally and we prayed 2 Chronicles 7:14 for godly repentance that the Holy Spirit can outwork God’s purposes and the fruit of transformed hearts will follow Hiskingdom principles.

Witches Hill - Seven Hills, NSW, Australia

Peter Magee - 5 Believers from Baulkham Hills Anglican, joined me for a 5.45 - 6-55 a.m  for a sunrise prayer service, I held on the witches' hill, at seven hills - opposite the spiritualist complex - listed in my street directory with a cross on it!  I started this last year with Norm Bishop, who in his seventies, felt he needed to watch his health, after finishing his prayer mtg at Penrith last night well after midnight. So he did not attend this year. The five, attended due to the advertising of my post on the National Prayer and Fasting website.
We had a good interactive pray time, with plenty of participation from the five believers - about the same age as me. Lord bring forth that younger Kingdom Generation!

Maila Ilao Mercado - Praise God for new friends Lily, Phyllis and Sebastian we met at our Sunrise Prayer this morning. They were already there praying before my mum and I came. Mum and I were not sure if anyone we invited would be able to make it. Though it's just me and mum this time, we are determined to mark this new year's day with prayer.
So we are delighted to see new faces and together we prayed and proclaimed that Jesus is Lord over our lives and our nation. We worshipped God and sang "How Great is Our God" and other songs in acapella.
Later our church friend who apparently lives nearby joined us and kindly served us breakfast in her home. The Lord is so good. Not only are we inspired and nourished spiritually but also fed in our tummies😊😊😊 We shared stories of God's faithfulness and exchanged contact details so we can meet up again for prayer.
